Don’t we all know people that has been impacted by cancer? How does it make you feel? Mad? Sad? Worried? Scared? Don’t you wish you could do something about it? Well, last year when I was asked to join my work’s relay team I jumped at it. I met some people that they did not let cancer stop them from living life. They inspired me to do something big. Here is the plan…
I set a $10,000 goal for the 2017 Relay season. $10,000 for cancer research, for those that are going through cancer, and in memory for everyone that has passed away because of this terrible disease.
While the 2017 Season doesn’t start until September 1st, I am getting a head start. Here are three ways you can help NOW!

Back in February 2016, if you would have told me that our Relay team would have raised over $27K for the American Cancer Society I would have thought you was crazy. Our first team goal was $5K. We surpassed that in no time. We had many fundraisers (i.e Chicken Stews, Yard Sales, Bake Sales, CornHole Tournaments) every little bit helped us raise the $27K. I would like to personally thank our team captains (Gina Yarbrough, Michelle Williamson, Ashley Wallace, Pam Ball, Vanessa Rich, and Tammy Waddell) they kept me motivated and encouraged me to keep going. “County For A Cure” means so much more to me. It means that when a group of people comes together anything is possible. I personally raised $3,470. I would like to thank all the personal donations that people made and the business sponsorships I received. It is so encouraging when you raise money for such a great cause. Do you want to join our team? Please let me know! We would love to have you!
